The Yotta Podcast
This is the Yotta Podcast hosted by Founder, George Rockett, interviewing experts from across the digital infrastructure landscape on what the future holds for this dynamic industry at a time of explosive growth. Yotta is a ”bold” new event platform that’s been created as a catalyst for a crucial new conversation that spans the full digital infrastructure ecosystem. The Yotta mission is to support a more integrated and holistic approach to the issues of scale and sustainability that are being redefined in the age of accelerated compute. This will be a platform where the data center, compute, network, telecoms, storage, cloud and other digital infrastructure ”tribes” can come together to build trust and understanding. The inaugural event will take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, October 7-9, 2024.

Episode 6: The Modern Technology Tower of Babel
Friday Jun 07, 2024
Friday Jun 07, 2024
George Rockett talks to a friend and industry veteran, Bill Angle, Co-founder of leading New York IT consultancy, CS Technology, about his journey through the world of digital infrastructure, as he likes to put it, "looking backward can often help us with how to deal with the future."
The discussion looks at the 'whys' and 'hows' of the first concurrently maintainable data center he built for the United Parcel Service in 1994, which laid the blueprints for Tier IV data centers and the world's first low-latency trading platform for the NYSE.
Who knew that the biblical tale of Babel's Tower has so much to do with the objectives of Yotta!
